50 Cent Sues Former Lawyers for $75 Million

50 Cent legal difficulties continue to accumulate. Earlier today, news broke out the mogul will be returning to court really soon as he has filed a lawsuit against his former lawyers because he believes they didn’t represent him accordingly in the past. Thus, Curtis is demanding $75 million.

The Queens rapper has submitted documents this morning, according to Business Insider, which claims his former attorney Garvey Schubert Barer did a terrible job on his behalf in 2014 while he was dealing with the disastrous fallout of his venture with Sleek Audio headphones.

After the deal was over, 50 Cent launched his own headphones brand called SMS Audio. Sleek Audio then filed an arbitration against 50 that resulted in him owing the company close to $17 million.

50 Cent’s lawsuit id basically implying that it’s Garvey Schubert Barer’s fault, because they told him he wouldn’t be infringing on any copyright property by launching his own company, aka poor counsel.

Fif also links the poor legal advise he received to his recent bankruptcy filing and losing $7 million to Rick Ross’ baby mother.
