Donald Glover left his music fans in a state of limbo as it was uncertain whether or not more music was ever going to arrive. Luckily, Donald Glover caught the music bug once again while shooting season one of his Atlanta series, which he debuted material and hinted at new music through several scenes of the show.
Now Childish Gambino has once again re-emerged with his new album, Awaken, My Love!.
It’s a complete departure from the usual sound Childish Gambino is known for, the project has no features and a spatter of the production being handled by Ludwig Göransson, Oh and no rapping.
Still not sure if this project is a misfire, I’ll have to sit with it a bit longer.
