Glass House Much? It Turns Out Meek Mill May Have Ghostwriters Too

Meek must have forgotten the golden rule, once on the internet, always on the internet.

This Meek Mill vs Drake scuffle continues to bring more things to the light, About 3 weeks ago Meek got emotional and hopped on Twitter put the biggest name in Hip-Hop Drake on blast, specifically for not writing his own raps.

What happened next was unexpected, which is Drake giving Meek Mill a lyrical has whooping with “Charged Up” and “Back To Back“, the likes of which Meek has yet to bounce back from. It’s now the 4the week going into this internet rap beef and Meek set to have another bad week.

Not only was his response an epic fail, now it turns out that Meek himself is now the one in the hot seat for the same thing he outed Drake for.

Thanks to the almighty Internet, led by the swarm of online investigators on KTT, an 80-week old Instagram video by producer J. Oliver resurfaced on the web. In the 15-second footage, he can be heard rapping the hook for “F*** You Mean” – a song produced by the man beatmaker himself which would be released as a collaboration between Meek Mill and Boosie Badazz approximately 8-9 months later – over his own reference track.

The second rumored ghostwriter for Meek Mill is Loiue V Gutta. The rapper who collaborated with Meek on “Rich & Famous” for the Dreams & Nightmares album went on Twitter to shed light on the controversial topics surrounding him, including what many believed to be a feud between he and the Meek which stems from a 2014 Twitter exchange. He recently had a suspicious interaction with Meek during the video shoot for “Check,” which ended up with a member of his entourage getting pistol-whipped.

During a brief Q&A, Louie claimed he has written “a lot” of tracks for Meek Mill, including a few cuts from Dreams & Nightmares. However, according to Wikipedia, he was only credited for his guest verse, meaning no credit for your contributions means you’re a ghostwriter not a co-writer, very different.

You can peep the evidence for yourself.

But wait! There’s more!

On Meek’s new album Dreams Worth More Than Money, Canadian MC Tory Lanez basically single-handedly coined “Lord Knows,” and he also wrote another track for the project.

Last October, in an interview with HNHH, Tory revealed that he wrote “My Nigga,” a bonus track featuring August Alsina from Meek’s LP.

I do a lot of writing. People don’t really actually know how much writing I really do,” Lanez said last year. “I wrote this August Alsina record on the Meek Mill album that’s about to come out.

That’s not new information though since Tory received credit for his contributions, but so did Quenten Miller on Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late project.

The only thing left to ask now, is what point was Meek trying to make? Was it really worth all the trouble he’s now in? I think not, he may really have damaged his brand this time around with his Twitter rant.
