In classic Kanye West fashion, always making a statement with whatever he does, he humbly accepts the BET Honors 2015 Visionary Award. Although humble, he didn’t even think twice to defend his wife, address racism and talk about blacks and our affect on culture as a whole.
One of the key moments to this whole entire award though is the fact that Dame Dash was the one presenting him the award – marking one of their first appearances together on TV in over a decade.
Dame Dash also appeared to be in a much more humble place as well.
Last week Kanye shared that he was disloyal to Dame Dash when the split with Jay Z happened, Ye inviting Dash to present the award maybe one of the many steps Kanye is taking to correct that wrong.
Do you guys remember Kanye West from a year ago? He’s in a totally different place now mentally and it’s good to have him back to his old self.
