After being name-checked on D12’s song “Keep Talkin’” in 2004, SpongeBob himself has been mentioned over 100 times on songs by artists ranging from Wu-Tang Clan to Smokepurpp. Other Bikini Bottom favorites who’ve made cameos on rap songs include SpongeBob’s best friend Patrick, his neighbor and co-worker Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, and even Plankton.
