Beyonce was already set to break the internet this weekend with her upcoming performance at Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show. Queen Bey decided to start breaking the interwebs early with the surprise release of not just a new song but amazing visual to go with it.
The name of the song is called “Formation” and it was produced by Mike Will Made It and get this – co-written by Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee. What?
The video which co-stars Bey’s beautiful daughter Blue Ivy, takes us down south to New Orleans, where she’s slaying the competition, dancing in various locations with back-up dancers in an empty pool, in a parking lot and ends off with her being submerged in the water of a flooded town.
The best way to describe this video…..Black Excellence.
Beyoncé is set to perform the song for the first time during the halftime show.
