DC Comics Doesn’t Want Rihanna to Trademark Her Name “Robyn”

Can you imagine someone telling you that your name isn't yours to do with what you please?

Rihanna

Last year BadGal Rihanna submitted an application to the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office for an official trademark of the name Robyn. The 27-year-old singer, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, envisioned of using her legal name to launch an online feature magazine venture.

Well DC Comics has a few things to say about that; The Warner Bros. subsidiarity company filed an official opposition to the trademark, citing that the name was too similar to Dark Knight’s sidekick, Robin – which would be confusing to audience due to the similarities.

Rihanna now has 40 days to respond to their claims.

This is such a ridiculous claim, DC Comics don’t you guys have anything better to do? Like, I don’t know, maybe release at least a few watch worthy movies.

Marvel has you looking side the side bitch out.

Cut the crap.
