Shooting at T.I.’s NYC Concert Leaves Troy Ave Among Four People Shot and 1 Killed

Last night, the kang T.I.P was set to take over Irving Plaza in Manhattan, to perform his hits as well as new music. What was meant to be a mid-week party and celebration of numerous artists rapidly turned to violence and tragedy.

Before T.I. was to take the stage, other artists were scheduled to perform, Maino and Uncle Murder were the two that were on stage at that point of the night when a gunman opened fire on three people inside the venue and killing one other person.

Among the victims that were shot, is rapper Troy Ave, who was reportedly shot in the leg and is still in the hospital. The one individual that passed away was 33 year old male named Banga who was close friend and right hand man to Troy Ave, he was shot in the chest.

As of right now, the gunman still hasn’t been identified nor has any real motive been established and no arrest has been made either. Allegedly, Troy Ave was the intended target but that hasn’t been confirmed.

NYPD is investigating security footage from inside and outside of the arena, you can view the immediate social media reactions below.
